How do I configure a Gmail account in MyTobii?

  1. Create a free Gmail account on mail.google.com
  2. Once created, enable POP in your Gmail account - this is done once your account is created and you are logged into it
    1. Log into the Gmail account
    2. Click the Settings link
    3. Click the Forwarding and POP/IMAP link
    4. Click the Enable POP for all mail radio button
    5. Click the Save Changes button
    6. Log out of the Gmail account
  3. Launch My Tobii Destop
  4. Click anywhere within the blue Desktop bar at the top of the screen
  5. Click on the Settings button
  6. Click on Advanced Settings
  7. On the left side of the screen, click the + sign to the left of Applications
  8. Click the + sign to the left of Internal
  9. Click Mail
  10. Click the Settings
  11. Please enter the information from your Gmail account
  12. Click the OK button to save your settings
Your Gmail account is now configured in MyTobii.
