Can you transfer the IR remote along with its commands from one iSeries device to another?

Yes, as long as both devices are iSeries (it doesn't matter if it's a Classic or + or a mix of the two).

1. In Communicator 5, open the quick menu (press/hold for 5 seconds or right click).
2. Select Advanced Settings.
3. Select System.
4. Select my IR Remote Controls.
5. Select the + sign next to show more options.
6. ​Select Export remote control.

To transfer to the other device, follow the same steps but choose Import at step 6.

Note: If you have more than one IR remote, you can export each one individually.
