Are you looking for a systematic way to assess an individual’s current skills in AAC and to help develop a long-reaching plan for increasing communication independence?  If so, then the Dynamic AAC Goals Grid (DAGG-2) is the right tool for you!

The Goals Grid is a systematic way to assess (and reassess) an individual’s current skills and will assist in developing a comprehensive, long-term plan for implementing AAC and teaching new skills.  It also includes a defined way to measure progress in small increments.

The Goals Grid can be accessed in two ways:

The best way to get the Goals Grid is to download the Pathways for Core First app onto your iPad.

Pathways for Core First App is a free companion app that offers a guided experience to successfully implement Core First.  It will offer goals and lessons to encourage ongoing growth.

Goals and lesson plans are provided for each of the 4 competency areas:

·       Linguistic

·       Operational

·       Social

·       Strategic

If you don’t have access to an iPad or prefer a paper copy, you can download the Goals Grid from www.mytobiidynavox.com.  To find the Goals Grid, log into your myTobiiDynavox account (or set up a new account) and follow this path:  Community >> Resources >> AAC Goal Writing
