What is Core First?
Core First is the page set at the heart of our TD Snap AAC app. It offers a simple yet robust way for people who can't speak to combine words and symbols for effective communication.
What is TD Snap?
TD Snap is our symbol-supported communication app. Core First Boards are based on the core words and picture communication symbols from the Core First page set found in TD Snap.
What are ALS/MND Communication Boards?
A set of communication boards containing words or symbols for expressing basic emotional and physical needs. It’s a good idea for people who use communication devices to keep some on hand in case their device stops working or can’t be taken somewhere.
Why use them?
While many people prefer a communication device with lots of features, it’s wise to have communication boards on hand as a backup in case of emergency. Depending on where they are in their communication journey, some people may simply prefer to use them as a primary method.
What is included?
This set of communication boards include a pain scale, Eye Transfer (E-Tran) boards and partner assisted scanning boards with rows for expressing feelings, discomfort, entertainment preferences and more. Each contains a set of instructions.
