AI for AAC: How is AI used to improve high-tech AAC?
This update expands language support with the Express page set in TD Snap, now available in Korean and Traditional Chinese (Cantonese). Each language includes localized symbols, voices, interface support, and input methods to create a more complete communication experience. A page set is a collection of AAC pages that support eye gaze, touch, and switch access, offering options for single words, complete messages, and device operation to suit different communication needs.

For multilingual users and the professionals who support them, a new multilingual symbol search feature makes it easier to find symbols across languages, when it is toggled on.
In addition, improvements have been made to MyTobiiDynavox usage reports. Beginning October 6, 2026, usage reports will include up to 18 months of TD Snap data tracking information, including button selections and usage dates. This shift to include the most recent data will help provide an improved usage report experience while continuing to provide access to information commonly used to track communication progress. Teachers and AAC professionals who rely on Track Button Usage for their AAC users, students, or clients can review the FAQ for more information.
The release also expands ElevenLabs voice options in both TD Talk and TD Snap, giving users access to additional voice models and new controls for speed, tone, pacing, and style. These enhancements provide more flexibility and help users create a voice that sounds more like them.
Together, these updates continue Tobii Dynavox's mission to break down communication barriers by expanding language access, increasing personalization, and creating a better experience for AAC users, families, educators, and clinicians worldwide.
