Description This course explores the idea that Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is an expected and essential aspect of communication for people with disabilities and beyond. This course covers foundational concepts of communication, including AAC, emphasizing the diverse communication modes available and the fundamental right to communicate. This broad overview also gives the learner real examples of AAC that they may already be familiar with.
