Training Type: Discovery Lab
You are invited to come and explore in the Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab! Using lecture and case studies, participants will LEARN about communication, access and education solutions for individuals with complex needs. Then you will make your way through interactive lab stations and DO guided hands-on activities. Opportunities to APPLY your knowledge in practical ways will be provided. Each participant will leave the session with a handful of resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day!
Course presenter: Lindsey Frohn, M.S., CCC-SLP graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 2010. Following graduation, she worked at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE for over 6 years as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. While working with a wide variety of diagnoses and disorders, she developed a passion for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to increase her patients’ abilities to communicate successfully and decrease their frustrations. She is now happy to continue that passion in her role as a Learning Consultant for Tobii Dynavox.

Presenter: Lindsey Frohn
Lindsey worked in a rehabilitation hospital for over six years as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) before joining Tobii Dynavox. While working with a wide variety of diagnoses and disorders, she developed a passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to increase her patients’ abilities to communicate successfully. Lindsey is presently a Learning Consultant with the Learning Services team at Tobii Dynavox. In this role, she develops and facilitates internal and external customer training and implementation resources. Lindsey also presents at local, national, and international conferences about AAC topics.
