Training Type: Implementation Workshop
Course Description: Join us for a full day of learning as we explore topics to help early communicators be more successful in the areas of learning, language and literacy.
Morning Session: You will learn how to help the children that you work with communicate with core vocabulary, and how to implement Snap + Core First as a tool to do so. A special guest from Boardmaker will also teach you how can use Boardmaker Online to further enhance learning opportunities in the classroom and beyond!
Lunch will be provided – stay and play with Tobii Dynavox devices, software and Boardmaker Online tools
Afternoon Session: Do you work with children who require eye gaze technology? No problem, we’ve got you covered! You will see how we can demystify eye gaze technology and help teach it as a way for children to engage in play, and develop language and communication skills.

Presenter: Lindsey Frohn, M.S., CCC-SLP. Lindsey has worked in a rehabilitation hospital for over 6 years as a pediatric speech-language pathologist. While working with a wide variety of diagnoses and disorders, she developed a passion for AAC to increase her patients’ abilities to communicate successfully. She is presently a member of the Learning Services Team where she develops and conducts internal and customer trainings, creates implementation resources, and presents at conferences about AAC topics.

Presenter: Lindsey Frohn
Lindsey worked in a rehabilitation hospital for over six years as a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) before joining Tobii Dynavox. While working with a wide variety of diagnoses and disorders, she developed a passion for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) to increase her patients’ abilities to communicate successfully. Lindsey is presently a Learning Consultant with the Learning Services team at Tobii Dynavox. In this role, she develops and facilitates internal and external customer training and implementation resources. Lindsey also presents at local, national, and international conferences about AAC topics.
