Training Type: Discovery Lab
The Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab uses lecture and case studies to LEARN about communication,
access and education solutions for students with complex needs. You will then make your way
through 3 interactive lab stations and DO guided hands‐on activities. Opportunities to APPLY
your knowledge in practical ways will be provided. And you'll leave the session with a handful of
resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day!
The days scehdule:
1:30-2:30 Communication, access and education solutions for students with complex needs
2:45-4:00 Discovery Lab rotations – hands, eyes and experience with products and software
exploring & learning!
4:00-4:30 Closing/Questions and Answers/Next Steps

Danielle Miller brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Tobii Dynavox as a 10 year veteran. She has a post graduate certificate in Education and was a teacher before joining Tobii Dynavox. Danielle has had the opportunity to consult extensively in AAC and assistive technology evaluations, providing support and trainings to families and therapists in Ontario and Manitoba. She loves helping people learn about the power and independence our devices can bring to someone’s life.
