What do I do when updates fail when running Update Notifier?

If your update fails through Update Notifer the reason may be because a file had only been partially downloaded.  To clear this up you will want to delete the Update Notifier folders that are hidden deep within the Appdata and ProgramData folders or follow the directions below.

  • In File Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\ISeriesUser\AppData\Roaming\Tobii Dynavox\ and delete the I-Series Update Notifier folder.
  • In File Explorer, navigate to C:\ProgramData\Tobii Dynavox\ and delete the I-Series Update Notifier folder and the UpdateNotifierStatus.txt file.
These are hidden folders so if you need help please contact Technical Support.

Once those file and folders are deleted, run Update Notifier again.
