How do I set up my Indi after I unbox it?
After unboxing the Indi, Microsoft helps you with the initial setup of Windows. Once that is complete, the Indi Configuration Guide helps you through the rest of the setup. In regard to the various account options during the initial deploy process:
- If you are unsure of which option to choose, we suggest selecting the offline option. This will not impede the Indi or Snap in any way. You can always create an account after the fact if you decide to go that route.
- If you want the device to connect to your network, you will likely need your IT dept. to help.
- If you want to use the device independent of your work network, but several people will be accessing it, you would set it up as an individual account. You can create a username and password everyone agrees on. Same with the Microsoft account if you wish to do so.
