The Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab uses lecture and case studies to LEARN about communication, access and
education solutions for students with complex needs. You will then make your way through 3 interactive lab
stations and DO guided hands‐on activities. Opportunities to APPLY your knowledge in practical ways will be
provided. You'll leave the session with a handful of resources and practical tips that can be used the very next

 2:00 – 2:15 pm Break
 2:15 – 3:15 pm Discovery Lab rotations – hands, eyes and experience with products and software

Presenter: Chris Kovach

Chris is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a degree in Marketing as well as a graduate of the St. Francis University MBA program. He began his career at Tobii Dynavox in 2009 and has held various positions in the corporate office prior to taking on a role as a Regional Solutions Consultant. Chris was a Funding consultant and supervisor, as well as a Customer service manager for years prior to joining the sales team in northeastern Florida in 2015. He has the heart of a teacher and enjoys working with families and speech pathologists who are new to AAC.
