The Tobii Dynavox Discovery Lab uses lecture and case studies to LEARN about communication,
access and education solutions for students with complex needs. You will then make your way
through 3 interactive lab stations and DO guided hands‐on activities. Opportunities to APPLY
your knowledge in practical ways will be provided. Finally, you'll leave the session with a handful of resources and practical tips that can be used the very next day! J

Presenter: Dani Mohn
Dani has worked for Tobii Dynavox since 2004. She has been a Regional Director with Tobii Dynavox for the past seven years and currently oversees Canada and the southwest region of the United States. Prior to that, she spent seven years as a Regional Sales Consultant for Tobii Dynavox in southern California. Dani’s experience with AAC is extensive. After earning her bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she developed speech therapy programs in rural areas of the Midwest and was a member of a multi-disciplinary team in a public school special needs program where both low-tech and high-tech AAC were implemented. Prior to joining Tobii Dynavox, Dani served as the AAC Program Coordinator for the UCP Assistive Technology Center in San Diego where she was responsible for managing multi-disciplinary AAC evaluations, providing AAC trainings for families and the community, and coordinating an AAC equipment loan program.
